W (wonderful or worrisome) WWW - Digital Citizenship - My Responsibility

We are all now part of a global community thanks to the internet.   I teach digital citizenship  8th graders because they are very young members of this enormous community.  They need to be made aware of the wonders and dangers of this vast community.

What I try to teach is:
       To Be Nice
       To Be Safe
     

No one really ever refers to the internet as the world wide web anymore but we need to remind ourselves that that is truly what the internet is.

      We could also call it the Wonderful World Wide Web or the Worrisome World Wide Web.

Everyone bears a responsibility to be nice and to be safe while traveling the internet.

Life's Journeys - What is a PLN?

I researched what a PLN is - Personal Learning Network.  I researched how to set up a PLN but could not find any clear instructions on how to set one up.  So I am going to list all the learning networks that I belong to which I assume will be my PLN.
